Mr. Taji started his professional career after completing his MBA from IBA Karachi by securing first position. Since then, he has spent more than 45+ years with several multinational organizations like Exxon Corporation, Union Carbide of USA, and British American Tobacco/Pakistan Tobacco (BAT/PTC) within and outside Pakistan. He has been the HR Director of Pakistan Tobacco Company, HR Director Interloop Plc., and Advisor to Chairman PIA. Mr. Taji has also been the Member of Prime Minister's Pay and Pension Commission (2005), Advisor to Chairman PCB and Director for Amreli Steels Limited as well as the Chairman of the HR Committee of the Board.

During the last fifteen years, Mr. Taji has invested most of his time and efforts towards changing the organizational culture by putting extensive efforts in mentoring young managers and grooming them into effective change agents. As a Change Management Professional, Mr. Taji has successfully implemented and executed Organizational Transformation Programs in large scale organizations in Pakistan. He has helped Organizations transform from loss making entities into one of the best performing companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Besides his corporate experience Mr. Taji has also been associated with the academia as the DG (Dean) NUST Business School, where he established the Executive MBA Program as well as establishing the Riphah School of Management & Sciences.
